Consider for Approval Amendments to Articles 14, 15, and 25 of the 2019 -2023 Collective Bargaining Agreement Between the City of Galveston and International Association of Fire Fighters Local 571 (K. Etienne)

Consider for Approval Extending Use of the Emergency Paid Sick Leave (“EPSL”) Benefits for Civilian Employees as Established by the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (“FFCRA”) through December 31, 2021 (K. Etienne).

Consider for approval Amendment #1 to the original 3rd party professional services contract with Applied GRT, LLC, for a fee of $50,000 (thereby increasing the total contract to $64,850) to support the expanded scope for the 18th Street Drainage Construction. Consider approval of Change Order #1 to the contract with Main Lane Industries, Ltd. for the Downtown Pedestrian Transit Improvements project decreasing the contract by $33,452.90 from the amount of $897,240.00 to the amount of $863,787.10. Consider for the approval of the purchase of three (3) new 26-yard automated garbage trucks for the Sanitation Department to be purchased from Grande Truck Center through HGAC Buy for a total price of $994,467, and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract upon final approval by the City Attorney. Consider for approval, entering into a contract with McDonald Municipal & Industrial, a Division of C. F. McDonald Electric, Inc. for $182,469.00 for the construction of the pump/generator system at the Island Transit Trolley Barn, and authorize the City Manager to sign all documents upon the review and approval of the City Attorney. Consider for the approval of the purchase of one mobile generator for the Fleet Facility to be purchased from Loftin Equipment through HGAC Buy for a total price of $67,581, and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract upon final approval by the City Attorney. (D. Smith)
