Orders related to COVID-19 available online


Galveston, thank you for doing your part to stop the spread of COVID-19. Our hope is by making these sacrifices now we can get through this safely and as quickly as possible. The health of this community remains our top priority and we’re committed to taking the actions necessary to reduce the risk to our residents.

This is just a friendly reminder that several emergency orders remain in place. To view those orders, please visit

This week, the Galveston County Health District began releasing information on a city-by-city basis. There are currently 11 confirmed cases in Galveston. The Galveston County Health District (GCHD) today announced 12 new positive COVID-19 cases in Galveston County residents. This brings the county’s case total to 118. To date, 1,206 Galveston County residents have been tested.

Please continue to practice safe social distancing and healthy hygiene measures.
