The City of Galveston is accepting applications for a position on the Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission duties are to make, amend, extend, or add to a Master Plan for the physical development of the City; recommend to the City Council approval or disapproval of proposed changes in the zoning plan; approve or disapprove the platting or subdividing of land within the corporate limits of the City and within adjacent areas as permitted by law.

Anyone interested in applying should submit their application by October 13, 2020. City Council will select the candidate during the October 22, 2020 meeting.
At this time, the City Council is only interviewing for one position on the Planning Commission.
