The City of Galveston has lifted the boil water notice after lab results determined it was safe to do so. The City is also removing water restrictions as the system has been stabilized and the water supply is sufficient.
The City is providing water service to all areas of the island. If you do not have water in your home, it is likely due to an isolated shutoff due to repair work.
Residents should continue to contain leaks on their properties by turning off water until the leak is fixed. If you need help turning off the water, please call Municipal Utilities at 409-797-3630.
