Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the badge? Well, here’s your chance to learn more about your Galveston Police Department!
Our next Galveston Virtual Citizens Police Academy will be starting soon! Sign up today by clicking the link below.
The Citizens Police Academy offers an inside look into a wide variety of GPD divisions and special teams including Officer Recruitment and Training, Criminal Investigation, S.W.A.T., Crime Scene Investigation, K-9 Unit, Marine Division, Vice/Narcotics, and more.
Classes will take place via Zoom every Thursday from September 30th, 2021, to November 11th, 2021. Class hours are from 6 pm – 8 pm. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and either live or work in the City of Galveston.
