Galveston voters on Saturday determined their representatives for the Galveston City Council, among other races on the ballot.
Galveston City Council seats are volunteer, unpaid positions, and candidates are elected for two-year terms. According to complete but unofficial ballot results from the Galveston County Clerk’s Office, Galveston voters decided the Galveston City Council races as follows:

Roger “Bo” Quiroga, 42.48 percent
Benjamin Herndon, 2.75 percent

Sharon B. Lewis, unopposed
City of Galveston Council Member District 2

City of Galveston Council Member District 3
David Collins, 55.82 percent
Frank Thomas Maceo, 44.18 percent

Michael “Mikey” Bouvier, 54.38 percent
Alexander Nelson, 45.62 percent
City of Galveston Council Member District 5
John Paul Listowski, 67.26 percent
Michael Niebuhr, 32.74 percent
