    CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER --- The Beach Girl Triathlon will be held on Saturday, September 18th at Moody Gardens! The ladies only course features a 200 yard swim in the Palm Beach lazy river, an 8 mile bike ride around Moody Gardens, and a 2 mile run along the grounds surrounding the area. There will be post-race fun, food, and refreshments. This race is perfect for those who wish to do their first triathlon or for veterans alike. Women and girls, ages 8 years old and up are welcome! To accommodate the bicycle portion of this event, Stewart Road from 83rd Street to 7 1/2 Mile Road will have modified cone lanes, though traffic will remain open in both directions. Portions of 83rd Street, Piper St, and Lockheed Dr will be closed from approximately 7:00 AM until 8:30 AM.
