La Izquierda Surf and Music Festival will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Menard Park. This family friendly event features live music, a surf competition and craft beer from Galveston Island Brewing. The event is dedicated to enriching and uniting communities of Galveston, the Gulf Coast and beyond. It serves as a fundraiser for a Summer Concert Series called "Save the Locals". The event is free and open to the public to attend.
